Peter has built up a reputation as “the realtor who can make you money”.  In 1993 a client handed him a $300,000 house with 50% mortgaged (ie, $150,000 net equity) and told him not a single penny more. Through ingenious creative financing techniques, he has bought and sold properties for that client that have resulted in a current portfolio of $16.5M with $8M debt ($150k into $8.5M, over 56x in 19 years, better than investing in the DJIA or the NYSE!) Peter Saito has been an FRI (Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada) since 2001.  He was one of the youngest members ever to have been awarded the FRI in the history of the Institute. The FRI designation requires a lot of high level professional education in real estate law, finance, development, industry knowledge and ethics; PLUS a clean, proven, long term experience record with no major issues like misrepresentation or fraud or compliants etc. It is the highest professional real estate designation that can be obtained in Canada, equivalent to a Queen’s Counsel (QC) designation in Law, or a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), and maintains a membership of only about 2,000 out of 2.5 million realtors throughout Canada.  The FRI symbolizes the epitome of educational, ethical and experienced standards of care in the real estate profession.
